Hi there. Welcome to my page. Today I am reviewing another of my latest product discoveries, the Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow pencil review in the shade Blonde Moments. So let’s start the review.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow pencil review

Packaging:

The packaging is very simple but has a little twist. The pencil has two heads. Yes, you read it right, two heads. One head has the pencil head as usual and the other head has a spool brush attached, yes a spool brush so it’s an eyebrow pencil with a brush. I found it quite interesting as useful as well. The spool brush helps in spreading the brow color as well as combing the brow into a definite shape. I did not find any other brow pencil with such a useful attachment.

Ingredients:

The ingredient list is printed on a plastic wrap on the cap of the pencil. So if you tear out the plastic wrap to check out the pencil then you won’t be able to see the ingredients printed on it. The ingredients are Cera Copernicia, Cenfera Cera, Ceresin, Petrolatum, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77499, Yellow 5 Lake/CI 19140, Chromium Oxide Greens/CI 77288, Titanium Dioxide/CI 77891

Colour:

This brow pencil comes in 4 shades. All shades are available in India. The shades available are

Blonde moments – It is a very light golden-brown shade, similar to the blonde shade
Ginger roots – It is slightly darker than blonde and is somewhat on the reddish brown side.
Brunettes do it better – It is a darker brown but not completely dark
Black ops – As expected from the name it is a black shade.

Texture:

The brow pencil is very soft in texture. But once applied it stays in place and does not smudge. It just glides on the skin and is very easy to apply. It is so smooth and I like it.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is also great. Just because it is soft it does not mean that the pigmentation is not good. One line of the pencil is enough to shape your brow and a few short strokes fill up the brow immediately.

Staying power:

Even though the pencil is soft, once it dries, it becomes smudge free. However, if you have oily skin and the skin near your eyebrows gets oily too, then you might need to use some powder to make the skin oil free and then apply the pencil. Alternatively, you can also use a concealer after you apply the brow color to avoid it from smudging even if your skin becomes oily.

Removal:

Well as the color is quite pigmented, you have to use a makeup remover to remove the color. In case of oily skin though, you can only swipe a cotton pad above your eyebrows to remove the eyebrow color.

Quantity:

The quantity is not mentioned anywhere on the product or on the product website. However, I think that the product might be at least 1.5 to 2g which is definitely the right amount considering the price.

Price:

The price of the product is Rs.250 but I purchased it from Myntra during the sale so it cost me around Rs 130.

My experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow pencil

My eyebrow is somewhat on the brown side so I chose Wet n Wild Color Icon Brow pencil Blonde moments. Well, it turned out to be a mistake. So I went for Brunettes do it better. This is suitable for most of the brunettes.

Will, I re-purchase it?

Once my pencil is finished, I would definitely re-buy it as the amount and price of the product are perfect.
